  • 2009: Tighter weapon restrictions are instituted in Germany when 16 people are killed and 11 are injured at the Winnenden School Shooting.
  • 2011: A 9.0 magnitude earthquake hits just east of Sendai, Japan. This earthquake not only triggered a tsunami which ended up killing thousands of people, but also set off the 2nd largest nuclear attack in World history.
  • 2016: After a heavy rain around the area of Sao Paulo, Brazil, twenty-one people end up being killed by the resulting floods and mudslides.
