Candy corn has become a staple of Halloween, almost as much as bats, ghosts and witches have. You will often find candy corn in dishes at offices and around the house at Halloween. Candy corn is often given out as a “treat” during Trick or Treat. While it used to be given out by the handful, manufacturers have started producing individual sized sealed bags of candy corn that can be given to children to increase safety.

Today, the Goelitz Confectionary Company has become part of the Jelly Belly Candy Company (1).
