The creamy goodness and is a joy in every bite and for many, it is a family favorite for good reason. Comfort food is as good as any other, it can be a satisfying main or even a side at a restaurant. It is one of the first meals that people tend to make on their own as it is simple, yet completely satisfying. The combination of cheese, milk and macaroni pasts is a winner. Recently, people do tend to get more creative and we are all for it. Whether you prefer the more traditional recipes or like to toast breadcrumbs on top or whatever else, no one can tell you theirs is right.
It is considered a national dish in Canada and has been made popular by Kraft Foods who sell its boxes. These boxes are the biggest selling grocery item in the country.
The dish is so popular that Crayon maker Crayola has even named a color after it.

The obvious way is to make the dish for yourself. There are tonnes of inventive recipes to try including adding bacon or jalapenos. The more traditional-minded will want to stick to what they know which is fine, there are plenty of recipes available online.
