Virtually Hug A Virtual Assistant Day
Virtual Assistants are becoming increasingly important in our lives. Amazon Alexa, Samsung Bixby, Apple Siri, Google Assistant, Nuance Nina, IBM Watson Assistant, and Microsoft Cortana are just some of the assistants that people may interact with on a daily basis.
They help us manage appointments, mark important dates on our calendars, and do other things that we might need them to do. And they do all of this work without so much as a thank you from us. Perhaps that should change.
Maybe we should show them some appreciation, and we can start by observing Virtually Hug a Virtual Assistant Day on July 6th. This is our chance to show our virtual assistants a little bit of love.
The History Of Virtually Hug A Virtual Assistant Day
Although we’re unsure of who invented this holiday we do know that it was invented to recognize the role that these assistants play in our lives.
We’re also unsure of exactly when this holiday was created, but we do know that it’s only been around for a few years now. Anyone who has any additional information on this holiday can feel to shoot us a line about it.
Observing Hug A Virtual Assistant Day
Hug a Virtual Assistant Day can be observed by showing the virtual assistant a little bit of love. Sure, they don’t have physical bodies, but you can always give them a virtual hug. How do you give a virtual hug to a virtual assistant? We’re not sure, but we encourage everyone to figure it out.
And once they do, they can use the hashtag #HugAVirtualAssistantDay on social media. Of course, not all virtual assistants are electronic, disembodied voices. There are plenty of human beings that work as virtual assistants, and it’s way more important to show them some appreciation for their hard work than it is to show Alexa some appreciation.
