National That Sucks Day

If there’s one realization that should make us all feel better it’s the realization that sometimes things suck. Yep, there are times when things just go south no matter how hard we prevent it from happening. That’s just life. You wake up on the wrong side of the bed, end up being late for work, and then forget to pick up something for dinner.

Those are just some of the things that can happen on these “sucky days.” Once a person realizes that sometimes things are out of their control, they at least have a chance at maintaining their sanity.

A holiday that reminds us of that fact is National That Sucks Day. This is a holiday observed on April 15th and lets everyone know that it’s alright to be grumpy. After all, sometimes everything just sucks!

The History Of National That Sucks Day

Who invented this holiday and why did they invent it? We’re not sure, but it was probably someone who was having a terrible day and needed to vent some steam. That’s all that we could find on the subject.

If anyone knows anything more about this holiday they’re free to let us know or point us in the right direction for research, but until they do, we’ll just leave this section as it is.

Observing National That Sucks Day

How can a person celebrate this holiday? Well, they can share all of the things that suck on social media and vent to the world. While they’re doing that, they can use the hashtag #NationalThatSucksDay to encourage other people to do the same.

People can also take the time to make a list of everything that sucks. That list can contain things that suck in your personal life, in your city, or in the world. It doesn’t matter, just write them down so you can get them off your chest.
