Happy Heart Hugs Day

We have to admit that Happy Heart Hugs Day is a holiday that might not be familiar to many people, at least not yet. It’s observed on June 28th every year and encourages everyone to give the special people and pets in their lives a great big hug.

Anyone and everyone in your life should be given a great big hug on this day, just for being themselves. The people and pets in their lives deserve to know that they’re special on this day, as well as the rest of the year.

The History of Happy Heart Hugs Day

This holiday was created by the owners of a French bulldog named Archibald Flubberford Brindleton, who was born on January 8th, 2013. This dog worked hard as a St. John’s Ambulance Therapy Dog and spent a lot of time spreading love at the Mount Hope Centre for Long-Term Care.

He also visited many other places as a therapy dog to spread love and hugs to those who needed them the most. Of course, that’s only the beginning of this amazing dog’s story, and people can learn more about him by visiting archiebrindleton.com.

Observing Happy Heart Hugs Day

This is a pretty easy holiday for almost everyone to celebrate. All they have to do is show the people (and pets) in their lives the love they deserve — something that most people are probably doing on a regular basis already.

The people and pets in our lives deserve our love, admiration, devotion, and respect, and this is the perfect day to demonstrate those principles to those around us. While we’re all doing this, we can also spread a message of love, hope, and hugs around the world using the hashtag #HappyHeartHugsDay on social media.
